This is a good place for spring migrants. Twenty-eight species of warblers have been recorded here, including Prothonotary, Hooded and Cerulean Warblers. It is a reliable spot for Baltimore Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and Indigo Buntings.

Unusual sightings include the Northern Mockingbird and the Orchard Oriole.
